The Highlands is a new mixed-use destination in the heart of Albuquerque. Built on Historic Route-66, The Highlands combines multifamily, hospitality and restaurant and retail within one master-plan. The 118-room Marriott Springhill Suites hotel which features one dedicated floor for Ronald McDonald house completed construction in Q1 of 2021. 92 residential apartments in Highlands North were also completed in Q1 of 2021. An additional 228 units are planned. Additional retail and restaurant space will be available adjacent to a community plaza with art installations and landscaping.
